Toy Delivery Day

I use to pick out every single toy I got for my birds. But that's when I was living in a house, in Florida, and really enjoyed getting all the toys for every cage. I mean, I had 3 large outdoor aviaries to fill, and 3 large indoor cages to fill. I would shop to my heart's desire. Being on the road with limited internet, slow connections, and next to no down time, I don't pick them out anymore. Instead, I write an email to my dear friend Jason and say, "I need toys! Send them this arena." and I let him surprise me with what arrives. I will usually say, "I need aviary toys... I need travel cage toys... I need toys for the little guys... or I just need toys, send them quick!"

Now toy delivery say is SO much more exciting because I have no idea what's coming! And it makes it super random for the birds since I have no idea what's coming, neither do they. But it's so much fun. Throughout this post are pictures of the last toy delivery day, and the birds loved it. So my suggestion to you? Don't be so predictable with the toys you order your bird. Maybe have a friend order some for you one day so you can be surprised too, just to truly change it up for your flock.
