Bird Food Stores: Farmer's Markets

My wonderful friend Patty pointed me in the direction of Farmer's Markets. Or any fresh markets you can find even on the side of the road where farmers literally come and sell their produce fresh as can be. This stuff is good! My parrots benefit so much from the foods in season, and it makes it more fun to grocery shop for them. I like surprising them with new foods every so often that I find that look interesting.

So make sure you're taking advantage of your local Farmer's Markets and shopping locally for your produce. It's usually organically grown and much more fresh than you will be finding in the big stores.
