Slow Cooker Oatmeal For Parrots

Recipe for "Overnight Oatmeal" On the night before, in a cooking sprayed coated slow cooker crockpot combine:
  • 2 & 3/4 cups water
  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup chopped dried/fresh/frozen fruit
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Cover and cook on low 7 - 9 hours

  Top with whatever you want in the morning!

Note: This recipe is also intended for people so you can eat it, too! Or make it for your human self and human family as well... hehe. Also, it's not meant for a full diet for your bird so serve only as much as once a week when it comes to oatmeal for your parrot. Feel free to make it your own and add whatever nutritious foods your bird loves (or doesn't love but is still healthy!)
