Our Newest Flock Members: 4 Sun Conures

I've gotta be honest, when the breeder sent us the photos of our baby sun conures we thought it was an old picture... assumed they were much older.  So since caring for feather-less birds is way over my head - I haven't been playing a huge role in their care and have left it up to the those who know what they're doing - like my hubby! However, I have been there for the random cuddles, and there to help them and as they get more and more feathers I have been there to sneak my head in and tell them to continue to hurry up and grow, hehe... but not too fast!   Here's a video of our conures as they're growing:

I keep looking in and thinking, I wish they would hurry up and get feathered! And then I look back at Rocko's baby photos and I think of how young he looks and precious and adorable... and miss it a little. But I do have to say, as cute as they are growing up, I'm uncomfortable with fragile things (even human babies) I like them at the age where you can knock them around a little, maybe throw them like a football across a playing field... wait, I think I'm referring to Bandit my cockatoo now and not so much human babies... ;)   Either way, enjoy the video and be expecting more the older they get!
