Giving Your Bird a Day Off

Everyone needs a day off... or two... plus a vacation... every once in a while, and the same goes for your birds when they are training. You don't want to train every day for an entire month. When I showed you guys the schedule I did with my birds to teach them the spin and wave in 2-3 days, I took 2 days after that off.

I actually went out to train on day 4 and it was so hot outside, and I was training outside, that the only thing I was going to put on cue was panting. So I didn't bother training that day and decided 2 days off with full bowls of veggie birdie bread would be a great treat for all my birds.

Don't forget to give your bird (and yourself) a day off every once in a while!
